I’m Melanie, a wedding photographer based in Germany, available worldwide. Photography is my passion and I've been photographing weddings for over 7 years now. To me photos are much more than just pretty pictures. They tell stories and capture all these genuine feelings and moments in their intensity. The first time you see the bride on the wedding day, the happy tears of your dad, children playing, dancing with your friends and having THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE.

I thrive in the great outdoors, artsy cities or traveling around the world, pursuing adventure. Photography has brought me to the most magical places from strolling through the romantic city of Paris to dancing under the stars in the never-ending Agafay Desert in Morocco.
At the same time my family and friends never miss to inspire me with the simple little moments in life I'm lucky to be having with them. True connection and intimacy will always inspire me and lead to paths for new directions and art to be discovered in each individual way.

Keeping in mind that every couple is unique, my style is naturally influenced by people’s narratives and emotions, creating a story within every frame. I aim to document each love story as it unfolds, in a way that is artistic and editorial. While I find inspiration from a multitude of styles, such as renaissance, minimalism, nature, movement and 20th century film and photography to name a few, I personalize my work to reflect who my couples are and how the moments actually felt to create.
